Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism
ACUVUE ADVANCE for Astigmatism from Johnson & Johnson is made with Hydraclear
(Galyfilcon A), an innovative moisture-rich substance that makes the contact lens
feel softer and silkier. This ultra-smooth lens features Accelerated Stabilization
Design (ASD) technology that provides astigmatic wearers with constant, stable
vision control through a reduction in lens rotation. The revolutionary lens design
consists of an accelerated slope of thickness that helps keep the lens in place
when the eye blinks, and minimizes lid/lens interaction when the eye is open.
ACUVUE ADVANCE for Astigmatism is visibility tinted for ease of use and contains
a UV Blocker to help prevent sun damage. This lens is part of the Ultra Comfort
Series of contact lenses. The manufacturer backs up this lens with a 90-day satisfaction
guarantee, and claims that over 70% of ACUVUE ADVANCE for Astigmatism wearers

My first attempt of using contact lenses did not go well and it put me off using them for almost five years. Eventually though I was convinced to give it another go. This time though I have had a totally different experience and I am truly amazed at the comfort level provided. There is no irritation and I can easily go through the working day without any problems. |

Having worn various contact lenses for twenty years I have never had as many problems with a brand of lenses as I have with these. They just do not seem to be as durable as modern lenses should be. Whilst they last they do the job and are fairly comfortable but they do not last as long as they should so they do quickly become expensive. |

Initially I was overjoyed with these lenses, they were at first fantastic. My vision though slowly deteriorated and even by closely following the cleaning instructions it hardly got any better. A white film had started to cover the lens and was impossible to shift, As I tried to clean them they were also rather to easy to tear. Not a great product at all. |

I was totally satisfied having started to use these lenses when it came to my work life. Sat behind a desk they were perfect, but once I got to the gym it was a totally different story. Sweat just seemed to cause intense irritation and suddenly my whole vision was far from being clear. for anyone who is active I don't think that these lenses are going to be of any use. |

Having successfully used Acuvue Toric for five years I was looking forward to the advanced version, thinking that it would be an improvement on what was already a good product. I found though that I was having issues when it came to removing the lens, and there was also an issue of irritation turning my eye red after a few hours worth of use. As a result I have been disappointed and have gone back to the original Acuvue Toric. |

Our price review finds Acuvue presents two rebate options. The lower rebate
is good for 4 boxes and the higher rebate is good for 8 boxes. There is approximately
a two-dollar per box savings between one rebate and the other. When added to
coupons and volume discounts the saving for the consumer is very significant
and basically halves the cost of the online price. Always follow your eye doctor's instructions.
