The Preference line of contact lenses are manufactured by CooperVision and are available from your eye care professional. These lenses are not indicated for extended wear as the Preference Standard lenses can be prescribed. It is important that the patient follow the instructions given at the time that these lenses are prescribed. Only the doctor can prescribe your replacement schedule with these lenses as well. Toric lenses are prescribed to patients who have astigmatism to handle the different shape of these patients eyes. Previously to the invention of toric contact lenses, it was not possible for these patients to use contact lenses for vision correction. It is important that the patient follow the care guide prescribed by the eye care professional for their contact lenses. The doctor will determine the cleaning schedule for these lenses.
