In order to do this Ciba have come up with a new Triple Action Moisture method of moistorizing the lens. This Triple Action makes use of ydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) and Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA).
The lens itself is amde from 100% nelfilcon A and has no water content. An additional point to consider is that a new prescription will be required for those switching from the original Focus Dailies.
With many lenses indistinguishable from another, it is good to see that Ciba Vision have managed to come up with something that can their product apart from their rivals. The introduction of a Triple Action Moisture formula has made their lenses unque and makes the lenses far more comfortable than you would at first expect.
