I have always had a problem when it comes to wearing contact lenses and that is that I always find that they would dry out my eyes. It is the main reason as to why I have predominantly used glasses over the past twenty years. I was though recently convinced to give contact lenses another try and was recommended the Extreme H2O thin lenses. They have been especially designed for those of us who suffer from dry eyes, and they have been made extremely well. The thinness of the lens is noticeable, and I would guess that this allows my eyes to breathe more than the thicker lenses do. Whatever the reason the fact is that I can wear these lenses for the whole day without my eyes drying out. It may have been a long time coming but I now find that I can do without my glasses. |

Extreme have always developed excellent lenses and I have recently moved from normal H2O lenses to these newer thinner ones. There was nothing wrong with the original lenses although I found that I would have to carry some wetting drops aroudn with me, as my eyes would start to dry out during the afternoons. I was advised by my optometrist that the thinness of these lenses would help with that issue and my eyes shouldn't dry out. They were basically right and druing the normal working day I have no issues, although I still find that in social situations where there is smoke about that dryness can still occur. |
