Wouldn’t it be nice if you can change the color and the look of your eyes for a short time just to give some excitement to your life? It’s no surprise that colored contact lenses have been around for a long time just to enhance the color of your eyes and now, to actually change their color without looking fake. IN fact, there are also a number of cosmetic contact lenses available now that are more popular during the Halloween season because they can really draw attention to your eyes and complement your costume at the same time.

Take for instance, the so-called Angelic eyes contact lenses. These are strikingly blue contact lenses that are designed to match a “heavenly” costume or they can stand on their own just to give you a slightly ethereal look. These lenses are custom-made for theatrical purposes so they may have prescriptions included or not. To achieve this kind of design, angelic lenses are hand-painted with special pigments to cover the real color of your eyes. Sometimes they may be opaque or translucent but they all include a small hole in the design through which your own pupils can actually see through. Your vision through these contact lenses may not be 100% though because of the pigment and restriction of the pupil.

These contact lenses may last you between one to two years if you take extra care and precaution when using them. You need to make sure that you follow the cleaning schedule to prevent bacteria build-up in the lenses. Make sure that you also don’t sleep in them, much less share the lenses with other people. Try and store them in their solution to avoid drying them and make sure to rinse the lenses before you put them on again. Check your lenses for wear and tear before you put them on again. If you need to replace them, they are readily available over the Internet.
